Document Details Palestinian Authority’s Attempt to Create Front Group in Geneva

Document Details Palestinian Authority’s Attempt to Create Front Group in Geneva

Last week I reported on a pseudo human rights groups called the Global Network for Rights and Development (GNRD), which is collecting information for the Palestinian intelligence services under the disguise of being a human rights organization.

On Friday, InLightPress released the second page of a document detailing a project called The Striking Arm. From the second page of the report we learned about the main people behind this operation.
The title of the page is The Striking Arm Project. Below that it says who prepared the document. Two names are listed. First is Dr. Loai Deeb. Second is Major Mahmoud Omar. It is not clear who Mahmoud Omar, but Loai Deeb is a Palestinian lawyer based in Norway. Deeb seems to be part of the Maarij Foundation for Peace and Development, and has spoken a number of times at the United Nations Human Rights Council. I would note that the Maarij Foundation for Peace and Development recently organized the visit of a Hamas official Ismail al-Ashqar to the UN Human Rights Council.
After listing who prepared the document it says who "supervised" it. The only name there is Colonel Ma’moun Hashim Rashid, the director of external security affairs for the Palestinian Authority. After that it says follow up was conducted by Major General Majed Faraj, head of the Palestinian General Intelligence Service.
InLightPress has now released the entire document, which I have put into a PDF.The Striking Arm - Global Network for Rights and Development (GNRD) and the Palestinian Authority
